Is there a problem with a solicitor acting for 3 parties?
A resident's management company appoint an agent to manage the building and common areas on their behalf. Who then appoint a solicitor to pursue debtors on behalf of the company. So on one hand solicitors act for the company and then act against the company. Is this a conflict of interest?

The Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct 2011 (‘theCode’) prevents solicitors from acting for both parties in a transaction wherethere is a conflict of interest or a significant risk of one.
In your scenario it seems that the client is the management company, therefore, the solicitor is acting for the company and not against it. We cannot see a conflict here.
